5 - How to Add an Upfront Investment (of a specified amount)

To add an upfront investment of a specified amount:

1.      Go to the ACCOUNTS screen (via the left-hand menu)

 

2.       Select the “ILOC Investment Account”  (as indicated by the arrow in the below diagram)




      Clicking on the ILOC Investment Account will open the ILOC Account Details screen (as indicated below).




3.      Add the amount of the upfront investment you wish to include.
         In this case, I am incorporating an immediate upfront investment of $10,000.

         This number MUST have a MINUS sign, as it is a liability.


4.       Click UPDATE to save the change.


 

5.      Go to the ASSETS screen (via the left-hand menu)

 

6.       Select the “RMD DCA Asset” (Recycle My Debt Dollar Cost Averaged Asset) (as indicated below)





      When you click on the RMD DCA Asset, the ASSET DETAILS screen will open (as indicated below).




7.        Add the upfront investment you wish to include (as indicated above).

8.        Click UPDATE to save your changes.
