Step 1 - Create Your Client


1.   CREATE NEW CLIENT


      To add a new client:

  •       Click the ADD NEW CLIENT button, in the lower left of the Dashboard screen, below the Client List.




            This will take you through to the ADD CLIENT screen, where you will add the client.



2.   CLIENT DETAILS


In the ADD CLIENT screen, ensure the DISPLAY NAME, ADVISER, CLIENT TYPE, MODEL TYPE, FIRST AND SURNAMES, and DATE OF BIRTH fields are all entered.

For a Recycle My Debt client:
  • Select CLIENT TYPE 'Prospect'   (see arrow  in the below diagram)
  • Select MODEL TYPE 'Recycle My Debt'  (see arrow  in the below diagram)



Once you have entered these details, click ADD in the lower left-hand corner, and the full CLIENT DETAILS screen will be displayed.  
Helpful Hints when completing the ADD CLIENT screen:
  1.           Enter DISPLAY NAME
The suggested format for the entry of the client name is:
"Client Surname", "Member 1 First Name" and "Member 2 (Partner) First Name"

Should your client be a couple using different last names, we suggest the following format:
"Member 1 Surname, First Name" and "Member 2 Surname, First Name"

Note:  The order in which you enter your client's name details on the new client screen determines the placement of the name in your alphabetical Client List.
                  2.        Adviser
Select the Adviser currently assigned to look after the client from the drop-down menu.  The active Advisers in your office will appear in the drop-down menu.

                  3.      Client Type
                 There are three different types of clients on the Client List:  Prospects, Fee Only Clients, and Clients.  
                  These clients are defined as:

                  *      Prospects - clients that have not yet commenced monthly cash flow monitoring (Track to Plan)
                  *      Clients - a client who has commenced monthly cash flow monitoring (Track to Plan)
                  *      Fee Only - clients you are using the Prospera DDR system to manage ongoing fee payments only
                         (there is no modelling in this client option)
Clients who have been IMPLEMENTED on the Prospera Cash Flow Management system (i.e. their status in the Client List shows as "Client"), will require you to enter in their monthly actual balances, and the Track to Plan report should be sent to the client each month.

                  4.      Model Type   -   Ensure your Model Type is set to 'Recycle My Debt'.

                  5.      Member 1 First Name   -   Enter the first name for Member 1.

                  6.      Member 1 Surname   -   Enter the Surname for Member 1.

                  7.      Gender   -   Select the Member's gender from the drop-down menu.

                  8.      Date of Birth  -   Enter the date of birth for Member 1.


3.    CLIENT PARTNER DETAILS

            Add the Client Partner (Member 2) details by clicking on ADD MEMBER (as indicated in the below diagram):



            This will open the EDIT MEMBER DETAILS screen, as follows:




            Enter the Partner Member details  -  Salutation (Mr / Mrs etc), First Name, Surname, Date of Birth and Gender..

            Click ADD.  

            Your client is now created.  


4.    CLIENT WIDE SETTINGS -
            MODEL START DATE, MODEL END DATE, RETIREMENT YEAR,
            RETIREMENT FUNDING AGE

Click on the full Client Name at the top of your screen (as indicated by the red arrow in the below screenshot).

By clicking on the Client Name, you will open the CLIENT DETAILS screen, which details the client wide settings.


Check that you have selected the correct model type (Recycle My Debt), as indicated by point 1.  

You can also enter the following details (as indicated by the blue arrows on the right):

            2      FNA (Fact Find) Interview Date  
                        Insert the date of the Fact Find data you are entering

            3      Model Start Date    
                        Insert the date you would like your modelling to start from

               Model End Date
                        Defaults to the retirement age of the oldest client (age 65).  You may wish to alter this.

                Retirement Funding Age
                        The length of time you would want the client's retirement funding to last.  

            Once you have entered the above data, click UPDATE to save your changes.

This completes the set up of your clients. You can now proceed to enter the client data.  

To enter your client Fact Find data, simply click on MODELLING from the left-hand menu and work through the menu on the left of your screen.
