What is a Remodel?

A Remodel is the re-forecasting of a client's model from this point forward.  It brings the projections back into line with where the client is, as the new starting point.

Often, as time progresses, the client's position may either  fall behind their original projections, or, conversely, they may be ahead of where we thought they would be, based on their original data and forecast.  When these things occur, a quick remodel is the perfect way to update the modelling to keep the projections relevant.

By updating the client's current data entry with current account balances, and asset and superannuation values, will allow you to project forward, based on the current strategy.  Then by simply cloning this starting model, and creating an updated model with any updated spending goals, changes to income (if applicable), starting figures, and any recommended modifications to the current strategy, you can easily show clients the projected outcome based on their current strategy (from this point forward), versus the outcome based on the new updates to the client's goals and (if applicable) any recommended strategy updates.
